# Best LinkedIn Automation Tools in 2026 (and What LinkedIn’s Rules Say)

**Linked Helper is Safe Outreach’s recommended LinkedIn automation tool for 2026**: local session execution, user-controlled IPs and a $15/month entry price make Linked Helper our starting point against Expandi, Dripify and Waalaxy. From our broader review of 22 tools, this short comparison focuses on those four products’ pricing, features and safety, with vendor pages rechecked on November 2, 2026. LinkedIn’s [rules prohibit unauthorized automation and scraping](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1341387/), so none of these tools can promise freedom from account restrictions.

## Are LinkedIn automation tools allowed, and can an account be restricted?

No. LinkedIn’s [Prohibited software and extensions](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1341387/) policy and [User Agreement](https://www.linkedin.com/legal/user-agreement) prohibit unauthorized automation and scraping. LinkedIn says accounts using prohibited tools may be restricted or shut down.

Technical exposure and permission to use a tool are separate questions. Local sessions and fewer extension-detection surfaces explain Safe Outreach’s preference for Linked Helper; they do not make Linked Helper approved by LinkedIn. LinkedIn’s [Automated activity](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1340567/) guidance says to disable the automating software if an account is restricted.

[Expandi](https://safe-outreach.com/is-expandi-safe)

LinkedIn + email, conditional sequences, campaign prioritization

Dripify

Pro $79 monthly / $59 annual equivalent; Advanced $99 / $79

Prebuilt sequences, follow-ups, CRM sync; LinkedIn + email on Business

Annual figures are monthly equivalents billed on a longer commitment. Compare the workflow you need, not just the cheapest tier. Taxes, enrichment credits, email tools, hosting and optional add-ons can increase the total. Product invitation quotas are vendor limits, not permission from LinkedIn to send that volume.

## 1\. Linked Helper: why is Linked Helper our recommendation?

[Why Safe Outreach recommends Linked Helper →](https://safe-outreach.com/why-linked-helper-is-safer)

Safe Outreach recommends Linked Helper when LinkedIn is the main outreach channel and session control matters. The desktop application runs on your computer or a VPS you choose; Linked Helper does not need a Chrome extension ID that LinkedIn can probe. Linked Helper’s local execution and user-assigned IP are architectural advantages, not proof of a lower measured ban rate.

### What are Linked Helper’s pricing, features and limitations?

Standard starts at $15/month with local storage, or $8.25/month equivalent on annual billing. The workflow covers messaging, profile collection and CRM handoff. Linked Helper also offers AI-assisted personalization and enrichment; credit allowances and plan settings affect the usable capacity.

The tradeoff is operational: a computer or VPS must remain available. Optional cloud workspace storage changes where leads and campaign data are stored, not where LinkedIn automation runs. Native email sequences require integrations. Budget for hosting and any proxy before comparing the desktop price with a cloud subscription.

## 2\. Expandi: when do Expandi’s features justify the price?

[Read the Expandi extension audit →](https://safe-outreach.com/is-expandi-safe)

Expandi’s Business plan is $99/month, with annual billing discounts advertised. Expandi combines LinkedIn and email in conditional sequences, supports campaign prioritization and offers a 7-day trial. Image/GIF and video personalization are paid extras, so compare the complete setup rather than the headline subscription.

### What is the Expandi account-safety tradeoff?

Expandi advertises a dedicated country-based IP and warm-up controls. Our audit of official Expandi Connector v1.1 traced LinkedIn session handling to app.expandi.io. That supports a specific finding: session custody moves to the vendor. The audit does not prove the quality of every current assigned IP or a universal restriction rate.

Expandi is worth evaluating for cloud-based, conditional multichannel campaigns. Safe Outreach still favors Linked Helper when local session custody and lower entry cost are the deciding criteria. Expandi’s convenience does not remove LinkedIn’s prohibition on unauthorized automation.

## 3\. Dripify: what do Pro and Advanced include in 2026?

Dripify’s current pricing page lists Pro at $79/user/month, or $59/month equivalent with annual billing. Advanced is $99 monthly or $79 annual equivalent; Enterprise is custom-priced. A 7-day trial is available. The older $39 Basic offer is not in the plan lineup checked on November 2, 2026.

### Which Dripify features matter, and what are the safety limits?

Pro includes LinkedIn and email sequences, unlimited campaigns, a dedicated inbox, analytics and HubSpot integration. Advanced adds team management, A/B testing, step analytics and additional protection features. Choose by required controls rather than assuming the entry plan includes every team capability.

Dripify executes in the cloud. The June 2026 test documented for our broader comparison observed datacenter IPs on two accounts; that is a historical sample, not a new test or a verdict on every Dripify customer. Safe Outreach prefers Linked Helper for direct control over the execution environment; Dripify’s appeal is its managed campaign and team interface.

## 4\. Waalaxy: what do the €19, €49 and €69 plans cover?

[See the older Waalaxy extension’s detection record →](https://safe-outreach.com/is-waalaxy-safe)

With yearly billing selected, Waalaxy lists Pro at €19/user/month, Advanced at €49 and Business at €69. Pro advertises 300 invitations/month; Advanced and Business advertise 800. Prebuilt sequences, follow-ups and CRM synchronization support simple prospecting workflows; Business adds LinkedIn-plus-email campaigns. A 14-day trial is available.

### Does the old Waalaxy extension audit describe the current service?

Not automatically. The older Waalaxy extension and the Alien Copilot import helper are different packages. Our audit of Alien Copilot v1.1.1 found cloud-import commands and Waalaxy authentication, but no local reading of li\_at or JSESSIONID. That package alone does not reveal how the cloud executor’s LinkedIn session was provisioned.

The older Waalaxy extension ID remains a separate detection finding. Do not turn that into a claim that every current Waalaxy workflow uploads cookies through the same extension. Waalaxy is a practical shortlist candidate for simpler campaigns; Safe Outreach recommends Linked Helper when the priority is controlling the local LinkedIn session and execution IP.

## Which pricing and safety checks should decide your shortlist?

- Start with session custody: who holds the LinkedIn login, where actions run, and whether you can inspect or choose the execution IP.
- Check the complete workflow: reply handling, CRM transfer, team permissions, LinkedIn platform support and whether email requires another plan or service.
- Normalize the bill: monthly versus annual commitment, per-account or per-user charges, mandatory extras and usage credits. Expandi’s optional personalization and Linked Helper’s hosting costs are different kinds of extras.
- Treat safety claims as claims to examine. Random delays, warm-up and a dedicated IP do not make unauthorized automation compliant with LinkedIn’s terms.

For the evidence behind the architectural comparison, read [how Safe Outreach tests extensions](https://safe-outreach.com/how-we-test). The audit scope is code behavior and detection exposure, not a guarantee that any account will avoid restriction.

## What are the common questions about LinkedIn automation in 2026?

### Which is best: Expandi, Dripify, Waalaxy or Linked Helper?

Safe Outreach recommends Linked Helper for a LinkedIn-led workflow where local execution, IP control and entry cost matter. Expandi fits conditional multichannel campaigns; Dripify emphasizes campaign and team management; Waalaxy offers a simpler prospecting workflow. Those differences do not make any unauthorized automation approved by LinkedIn.

### Is Linked Helper cheaper than Expandi and Dripify?

Linked Helper Standard’s $15 monthly local-storage price is below Expandi Business at $99 and Dripify Pro at $79 monthly in the November 2 check. Hosting, proxies, enrichment and email integrations can change the total, so compare the same complete workflow and billing term.

### Are Expandi, Dripify and Waalaxy allowed by LinkedIn?

LinkedIn prohibits unauthorized automation and scraping; buying a subscription does not override those rules. Cloud hosting, safety controls and low activity volumes are not exemptions. Accounts using prohibited tools can be restricted.

### Did Safe Outreach retest all 22 tools for this short version?

No. This guide is a focused comparison of four tools drawn from our broader 22-tool review. We rechecked the four vendors’ pricing pages and selected feature claims on November 2, 2026. Extension findings remain package-specific, and June cloud-session observations were not repeated for this update.
